Easy DIY Thandai Powder Recipe for Special Recipes

Ingredients:

1 liter milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup almonds, blanched and peeled
1/4 cup cashews
1/4 cup pistachios
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder
1/2 teaspoon rose water
Saffron strands (optional)
Ice cubes
Instructions:

In a pan, heat the milk and sugar together and stir until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool.

In a separate pan, dry roast the almonds, cashews, pistachios, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, and black peppercorns until fragrant. Let them cool.

Grind the roasted nuts and spices into a fine powder in a blender or food processor.

Add the nut and spice powder to the cooled milk and mix well.

Add the cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, rose water, and saffron strands (if using) and stir well.

Chill the Thandai in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Serve the Thandai cold, with ice cubes if desired.
